1. Our full day rental (9 hours) is from 9 am – 6 pm including instructions at the delivery and checking of the e-bikes at the collection. Half days are a strict 4 hours. 

2. Returns out of the rental period are subject to extra fees.

3. We do take the full hire rate to confirm a booking. Of this fee, 50% is a non-refundable deposit that is transferable to another date within 12 months subject to availability. The other 50% is fully refundable. In case you cancel your booking 4 weeks prior to your hire date you are eligible for full refund.

4. Please bring a valid form of photo ID (driving license, passport) with you on the day and a credit or debit card for the £250 security deposit. This will be instantly refunded on safe return of the bikes.

5. Due to UK law, we are unable to rent an e-bike to anybody under the age of 14. Anyone under the age of 18 will require a parent or a guardian to sign their waiver and accompany them for the day.

6. In case you lose the key from the lock or from the e-bike battery we will charge you extra £20.

7. For loss of the e-bike battery charger you will be charged £150 pounds.

8. The hirer takes full responsibility for the e-bike including its accessories and in case of complete damage or loss of the bike they must cover the cost of the e-bike including its accessories (£2500)

 

All Cotswolds Ltd:

1. Aims to provide high quality e-bikes Haibike Trekking 5 for hire that are fully charged, clean and include accessories such as lights, pannier bag, lock, map, phone holder and helmet.

2. Guarantees that every bike has got special tyre sealant to avoid a puncture. However in occasional cases puncture can still happen and therefore you will have the equipment to repair the puncture yourself and we will advise you over the phone how to do it in case you are not experienced in this matter. 

3. Please note that All Cotswolds is not responsible for the recovery of the bicycle in the event or an unplanned event which is namely rider capability, ride schedule, battery discharge (route was longer than the capacity of the battery or the hirer didn´t charge it in case the bike is rented out for more than one day), puncture, fatigue or accident.

4.  In case of any malfunction of the bike that was not caused by the hirer during the time of the hire All Cotswolds is prepared to assist you in repair or replacement of the bike when possible. In case replacement or repair is not possible and the bike is not ridable due to no fault of the hirer then All Cotswolds will return the amount of the hire rate depending of the hours that were not used by the hirer.

5. All bookings are subject to availability. When a booking is made by one person on behalf of other person or a group of people, that person confirms that they have got the authority to make the booking.

6. All Cotswolds staff is usually available by phone or email to help out with any problems during the hire period; however it is the customer´s responsibility to assemble, set and keep check on the bike they have hired. Whilst All Cotswolds will always do its best to have staff available during the hire period, this cannot be guaranteed.

 

Hire´s terms and conditions:

1. The Hirer accepts all terms and conditions of the e-bike hire from our company All Cotswolds Ltd.

2. The Hirer is responsible for his own safety and must wear provided helmet at all times they are on the bike. The hirer needs to ensure that they are physically fit enough to undertake cycling and that they are able to operate an e-bike. All Cotswolds doesn´t accept any responsibility for the hirer´s failure to complete the hire period due to lack of fitness, illness or injury.

3. All Cotswolds Ltd does not accept any liability for death, personal injury, loss or damage to personal effect or any participant and does not accept responsibility for delays or changes to your hire period due to weather, strikes, war, terrorism or other causes. All Cotswolds Ltd is also not responsible for injury or death caused by the hirer to a third party.

4. The Hirer accepts that cycling on a public highway carries its own risks and understands the rules of cycling on such roads to prevent injury to themselves or to the third party.

5. All Cotswolds recommends that the hirer has got suitable insurance cover at all times during the period of the hire.

6. The person who made the booking is responsible for all the hired e-bikes with accessories for the whole group they made the booking for.

7. The hirer will notify All Cotswolds Ltd immediately of any loss, damage or theft to any of the hired bikes or equipment however caused. The hirer is responsible to cover a reasonable cost of repair or replacement in such case.

8. The hirer will not offer the hired e-bike or any accessories for sale, dispose, mortgage, lend pledge or otherwise.
